He was a member of The Forge Church and a member of Smoky Mtn Cancer Support Group. Daniel was an avid baseball and softball player and fan and had a love of motorcycles. She was born in Elmira, NY in 1949, to Ernest and Adelaide Kelley. Neva graduated from Horseheads High School in 1967. She then worked as a water safety instructor at the YWCA before joining the Navy as a cook in May 1980. While in the Navy, Neva was deployed to Key West, FL where she met her husband Gary; and Keflavik, Iceland. After the birth of her son Garry, Neva enlisted in the Army National Guard in November 1989, where she served as a cook for 32 years.
