Pigeon Forge, Tennessee Daniel Joseph Giammichele 1964 — 2024 Daniel Joseph Giammichele, age 59, of Pigeon Forge, TN, formerly of Elmira, New York passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024, at LeConte Medical Center. He was a member of The Forge Church and a member of Smoky Mtn Cancer Support Group. Daniel was an avid baseball and softball player and fan and had a love of motorcycles. Daniel was the former co-owner of Giammichele Italian Delights restaurant where he found his love of people and cooking. Preceded in death by his father, Raymond E. She was born in Elmira, NY in 1949, to Ernest and Adelaide Kelley. Neva graduated from Horseheads High School in 1967. She then worked as a water safety instructor at the YWCA before joining the Navy as a cook in May 1980. While in the Navy, Neva was deployed to Key West, FL where she met her husband Gary; and Keflavik, Iceland. After the birth of her son Garry, Neva enlisted in the Army National Guard in November 1989, where she served as a cook for 32 years.
